A partnership between the credit card corporation Visa and the cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has resulted in the development of five new tokens that take their inspiration from the game of soccer. Through the utilization of this project, they hope to contribute to the fundraising efforts of the humanitarian organization known as Street Child United.
Starting today, November 1, and continuing through November 8 of this year, the NFTs are going to be put up for auction. All of the money that was raised will be sent to Street Child United, a charitable organization with its headquarters in the United Kingdom that recently put on a competition in Qatar for disadvantaged children from all around the world to take part in.
The World Cup goals that superstars like Michael Owen, Jared Borgetti, Maxi Rodriguez, and Tim Cahill scored during the competition will be included in the digital collection.
Each NFT is painted in the color of the player’s national team and includes information on the date, the minute, and the match at which the player scored a goal. In addition, the NFT is painted in the color of the player’s national team. In addition to that, the player’s name is printed on the NFT.
“Finding our place in the world is the only thing that is required of us at this moment; the Web 3 platform offers an almost endless number of potential applications, but we still need to find them.”

At the Visa Masters of Movement space, which will be located at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha, visitors to the World Cup will have the opportunity to create original pieces of digital art using a variety of different tools. Visa will be providing sponsorship for this area. Fans will be able to build NFTs by competing against one another in a soccer match on a digital field in order to earn points. The match will last for a total of four minutes, and each side will consist of six individuals.
Spectators will be able to view their NFT immediately following the conclusion of the match, and it will be sent to their wallet on Crypto.com within the next two weeks. People who are not able to open a Crypto.com account because they do not meet the requirements have the option to obtain the digital collectible in the form of a non-NFT digital file rather than opening the account.
Attendees will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about the cutting-edge payment services and features that are offered by Visa within the venue that is being supplied by Visa for the Masters of Movement event. Emerging technologies like blockchain and others like it are included in this category along with others like them. Since the beginning of FIFA’s sponsorship in 2007, Visa has been the organization that officially supports the organization’s payment service.
Visa entered into a collaboration with FTX in October, which is one of the most significant cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, with the objective of introducing debit cards in over 40 different countries. Users will be able to withdraw funds straight from their cryptocurrency wallets into their chosen banking institution’s account when they use the debit card. At the present moment, cards can only be purchased in the United States; however, releases in Europe and Latin America are scheduled for the year 2023.
